Corina
I write Scents of Science — a blog explaining the science behind everyday mysteries. Why we dream, why trees might be talking to each other, why time feels faster as you get older: I start with a real question, dig into the actual research, and write up what it says without the "science says" oversimplification.
New pieces land roughly weekly. If you're the kind of person who reads the abstract before believing the headline, you'll probably like it here.
Corina.

such a hard moment for Ukraine, for Europe, and for the rest of us… lots of suffering… and uncertainty is the word.
thanks for the flame of hope.

Hey Blanket Thief, I understand world events with Ukraine are coming close to home. I hope you, family, and friends are well. There is a loss of sanity of late. Stray thought of late. In my work. Your faith in science has given me solace and hope. Vrai. And thanks

Dear Flower,
Stay strong, smart and safe. War is kind of a dramatic nonsense with its necesities. Been there, seen that. Politicians play chess games with soldiers and people, no happy endings, just lives lost and ruined but Life goes on afterwards.
Respectfully,
